Welcome to the Cycle Challenge website,
where you can sign up and join various rides. Our aim is to tackle great routes at home and abroad and give you the chance to meet up with fellow cyclists and raise money for various worthy causes. We do the organising, you just ride. Later this year we’ll be doing the Channel Challenge, from Weymouth to Poole to Cherbourg to St Malo and back to Weymouth. The Petit Tour de Manche, as it is known, will be launched early next year. Next off is the 4th annual C2C Challenge (see below), followed by Mark Waters’ trip to Spain.’
Upcoming Challenges
At last: the dates have been fixed for the 4th C2C Challenge. The 2012 Challenge takes two days, riding through the Northern Lakes and over the Pennines stopping off in Alston, at the 70-mile halfway point.
In conjunction with the Sailors' Society.
Due to popular demand we have decided to have a C2C Summer Challenge as well. This will take the same format as always: gather in Sunderland early on Saturday morning, we transport you and your bikes to the start, and take your kit to the Alston campsite. The rest is easy…apart from some of the hillier bits!
