C2C Cycle Challenge

At the End of the Ride

A couple of housekeeping points about the end of the ride.

Event to finish on Marine Walk, Roker from 1pm onwards

• Photographer will be at Marine Walk from 2pm
• You will then be instructed to ride to the National Glass Centre (NGC) using the main road rather than going back the same way. This will ensure that there are no collisions with those riders coming in later. Please note the main road will be closed till around midday due to another event (the Great North 10k run) taking place in the morning.
• The reception will be held on the roof of the NGC, which can be accessed easily on either side of the entrance of the building (weather permitting; if not it will be held inside)
• Information packs and packed lunches to be handed out upon arrival at the NGC. Photographer will also be there from 3pm.
• St Peters Car park can be accessed by using the main road.
• there is a cafe / restaurant in the NGC for friends and family (information packs will include a 10% discount voucher), and free car parking is available either at St Peters OR NGC.

The Sunderland car park for those parking up for the duration of the ride, as you will know by now, is both very close and free: St Peter's Campus, University of Sunderland, SR6 0DD.
